CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE PROPORTIONAL CIRCLE MAP

 
 
This is a type of point pattern map.  It uses a circle instead of a dot.  The size of the circle relates to measured variable.  There are two types of proportional circle maps: Continuously variable symbols (seen below) and range-graded symbols.
